On 20 June 2026, NashTech partnered with Microsoft to host Microsoft Build //localhost: Ho Chi Minh 2026, bringing together 80 developers, architects and technology professionals at NashTech’s Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) office to explore practical ways to apply AI-powered software development.
The event explored the latest announcements from Microsoft Build 2026, with a focus on the wider system needed to make AI work in practice, from GitHub and Microsoft Foundry to governance, security and Microsoft 365 experiences.
The morning opened with an introduction to Microsoft Build //localhost in HCMC, followed by live demonstrations and sessions on Claw and Agent Harness in Microsoft Foundry. Attendees then took part in the hands-on lab, From Zero to Deployed on Azure with AI Agents.
The lab generated strong interest because it gave attendees a practical development environment: a preconfigured virtual machine, GitHub Copilot licence and Azure account. Using GitHub Copilot CLI and Azure Skills, they practised using AI agents to scaffold, deploy, secure, intentionally break, diagnose and operationalise an application on Azure.
Delegates particularly valued the practical use cases for GitHub Copilot CLI and Azure Skills.
The three biggest takeaways from Microsoft Build 2026 were:
- The rise of "Autopilot" AI agents
- Launch of MAI models – which generated the most discussion among the delegation
- Making Windows the trustworthy OS for agents
